Only a few more weeks until the new year! We have business as usual around here (work, school, eating, and all the in between). I am pretty excited to cook from my weekend’s library find – Vegetable Literacy by Deborah Madison. I am very pleased with its simple recipes and flavor pairings and am going to make the most of my 3-week borrow window. I instantly spotted quick fixes for my CSA stash and can’t wait to dive even more deeply into the rest of the book.
We have a lot of greens to eat through so I made notes of a few breakfasts to jog my brain in the fuzzy pre-coffee mornings. The rest of our breakfasts will be rounded with our usual – fruits, yogurt & granola, homemade waffles from the freezer and breakfast tacos.
