I have always considered myself more of a summer, but this time of year has slowly eased into a runner up. I can warm the house with the oven without cranking the AC to compensate and my beloved grapefruits start making their appearance in the local grocery store.
Have finally found a more intentional rhythm that allows for cooking which means that we have broken the sandwich, taco, egg rut! We are having salads and bowls and our breakfasts are taking advantage of the greens in our CSA. Scrambles with arugula and root veggie hashes are the current faves.
Will see what December brings and also have a little project cooking that should be ready for showtime soon. More on that later.
