sock slow down

My days if cranking out multiple pairs of socks a month are long gone. Life got busier, inspiration in the kitchen kicked into high gear again, and my hands were already pretty fatigued by the end of day when life had stilled.

I didn’t keep a running tally of pairs finished but I may have gotten about a half dozen so far? Whereas other years were all about stocking our drawers, this year has proven to be more of a skills challenge – stripes with no jogs, color palettes, alternate heel methods, and altogether cleaner finishes is what I have been focusing on.

Next on my list is learning to mend socks. Handmade heels have worn through and they are in need of some TLC.
