CSA is back and all is righting itself in the kitchen. Today’s root veggie stir fry was compliments of the purple daikon and carrot in the CSA box. I sautéed the daikon in some toasted sesame oil and a wee bit of sugar before moving on with the rest of the prep and it was {chef’s kiss}!

- toasted sesame oil
- ginger, grated
- daikon, diced
- sugar
- cornstarch
- carrots, matchsticked
- mushrooms
- leftover brown rice
- rice vinegar
- light soy sauce
- mushroom soy sauce
- edamame, frozen
Rest of our meals will be filled with all things green – mizuna, arugula, and lettuce – so we’ll have salads, some arugula pecan pesto, and sautéed greens to look forward to.
