Tornado watches and Texas State legislature be damned. My beloved Central Texas summer tomato season has arrived and I am gonna relish every damned bite starting with these slices on this here whole wheat bread that happens to be slathered with mayonnaise (Duke’s, of course).
Queue pre-ferment for tomorrow’s sourdough loaf, cause this whole wheat loaf is nearly gone.
