Deadline to register to vote in Texas is October 6! “But it is not an election year!” you say?!? There are lots of elections in between those mid-term and presidential elections and most odd years in Texas, we have constitutional amendments on the ballot in November. Lots of local propositions on the ballot as well!
The registration deadline applies to all registrations – new applications and changes of address so hop to it. You can download a mail in registration form online (must be printed and mailed in) or pick one up at any of our Austin Public library branches.
