It was a really different year of reading for me. I didn’t dive into much of my usual literary fiction or dystopian bits mostly cause I needed an escape from all the dread and horror on the news. I ended up with significantly lighter faire – Joanna Fluke’s bakery murder mysteries and lots of how-to books (not all captured in Storygraph. My favorites this year though? Headshot. James. Death Takes Me. Blackouts.
