Just popping in with a quick tip. Weekend waffles are dreamy, but they’ve got nothing on the joy that is a toaster waffle which can get popped in straight from the freezer for an instant no-cook WEEKDAY breakfast. No one likes burnt waffles though. So… make half of your homemade waffle batch just a tad bit lighter, so they toast up just right later. Not ground-breaking, but this little bit of foresight when making my weekend batches is granting us at least 1-2 no-prep (aka no mama needed) breakfasts.

P.S. Freeze your waffles in a single layer before placing in freezer bags or containers to keep them from sticking to each other.
