The Austin Food Blogger Alliance is hosting Cupcakes and Cocktails on July 19 at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin. The Philanthropy Committee’s efforts raised over $4000 for Bake-A-Wish last year and they are hoping to repeat their success for this year’s benefactor – The Arc of the Capital Area. The Arc is an incredible resource for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Austin. They provide educational advocacy, crisis assistance services, case management services and even take the time to match adults with disabilities to professional artists in the community.
Please come out and join us (indoors!) on Friday, July 19 as we raise money in support of their mission. There will be cocktail-themed cupcakes, cocktails (of course!), beer and appetizers to keep your belly satiated as you peruse the silent auction tables and get to mingle.
