nos. 33-37

My sock-making pace has slowed in the past few months, but I am still plugging away at completed pairs. Gifting has been my biggest motivation and a sign that I am feeling more confident about both the wearability and durability of my homemade wears.

This pair nearly did me in! I could not seem to get the second pair completed, frogging at every point of progress. They are gorgeous though and I can not wait for it to be cool enough to showcase all their glorious texture.

I’d been wanting to make this fun little pair of socks for a long time and finally did it. They knit up really quickly and the little pop of color at the ankle and heel is something that I think will go on repeat. Might make a whole set of these! Packed up this particular pair up today to send to my sister (the other one) for her birthday. (Picture at top of post)
