I am starting my year without a dedicated meal planner! Why? Lots of reasons but mostly because I only meal planned a handful of weeks last year and it just seemed wasteful to do that again.
That said, I am feeling a little overwhelmed by the lack of a structured and dated planner. Taking lots of deep breaths and leaning into my field notes stash as I get reacquainted with meal planning within the context of my 2023 reality of daily cooking, no eating out, and take out only when in dire straits.
As you can see, I am taking a stab at this a whole three weeks into the year with nothing but scribbles. It will work out, I will find a new rhythm, and this exercise will hopefully land me closer to a project that has been back-burner we for years.
