cookbooks are back

I have been hitting the library shelves for new-to-me cookbooks as I dive into this new kitchen energy and wow have I missed lots of great ones in the past few years. Decolonize Your Diet is not new at all but had been on my to-read list for years. Just getting started with read but excited to explore with ingredients that I grew up around like chayote and chaya and ones I’ve learned my way around as an adult like amaranth and huitlacoche/mushrooms.
