learning all over again

Her first batch of muffins in her new oven in her new kitchen. The simplest of recipes to start so we can work through a rewrite for her kitchen and her mobility limitations. I am learning so much about process and modifications as we break down every little step – blender instead of whisking by hand, scooping batter instead of pouring and we still haven’t quite figured out how to safely get a pan out of the oven when squatting is challenging.

We’ll figure it all out, but for now reveling in the happiness that is a muffin made by her.
