Join us on Saturday, August 17 from noon-2pm for Lemonade for Food. The kid-powered lemonade stand will be serving up homemade lemonade to raise money for the Capital Area Food Bank. With school out and no access to school free lunch programs, the summer is one of the busiest and most critical times of year for the food bank.
She is looking surpass her 2011 mark of $107 so we are planning for bigger batches and will have more ice on hand to keep it nice and cold for you. We’ll be accepting cash donations (they work hardest for the food bank) and canned goods in exchange for a cold glass of lemonade.
