veggie meal plan – august 25, 2014

We will be playing along with all of you that head back to school from home this week. Getting energizing breakfasts (and coffee) out to the table in the early morn this first week of practice is always a little tough, but this is why we practice. Also braving the new world of having the 10-year-old pack her own lunch (took about 10 minutes today). Will hopefully have slightly better-oiled machine by September 2. 😉

Breakfast – Breakfast Tacos
Her Lunch – Macaroni & Cheese | Roasted Beets | Sliced Pears
Dinner – Summer Risotto* | Spinach Salads

Breakfast – Bagels w/Roasted Pepper Cream Cheese | Smoothies
Her Lunch – Leftover Risotto | Roasted Beets | Apples
Dinner – Take Out

The 10-year-old turns 11 so the details of her special day gets its own post. 

Breakfast – Toaster Waffles & Fresh Fruit
Her Lunch – Sandwich | Carrot Sticks | Potato Chips | Canteloupe
Dinner – Zucchini Enchiladas

Breakfast – Avocado Toast & Fried Egg
Her Lunch – Veggie Burger | Smoothie
Dinner – Summer Minestrone | Salads

Snacks & Other Stuff
Cakes (Yes, plural.)
Chocolate Coconut Pecan Granola Bars 
Mango-Coconut Popsicles
Banana Ice Cream
