Quick pic of figs from before the weekend’s rain and after. Waiting for the current storm to clear so I can go pick the water-drenched tree. Wondering if the sudden burst in moisture will mean a less sweet fruit.
UPDATE: The ballooned figs did not fair well. Left them at room temp overnight to let them finish their ripen with awful results. They basically turned to mush overnight. Too much water this late in the season is no bueno.
