carrots in…

… everything! I made the mistake of getting carrots at the grocery store *before* picking up our CSA and we are now currently suffering from too many carrots. They are going in stir fries. They are getting snacked on raw. They are going in salads.

And today… they are going into this Whole Wheat Carrot Bread. It is rising now and if the flavor works out like I hope, it’ll be perfect for the egg salad sandwiches and the grilled cheeses that I have planned for the week.

I’ve placed the excess carrot puree into the freezer for future loaves but if it doesn’t workout, the puree will go in future smoothies.
