I know we are supposed to trust the age-old adage, but I don’t know that I have ever picked up a CSA box in April with zucchini in it. Does zucchini go with cauliflower? Does our seemingly endless season of summer squash start in April now?!? Gah. What on earth are we doing to this earth!
Regardless of whether or not they go together, I am happy for the unusual rainbow. Salads, my first minestrone of the year, and something lovely with that cauliflower coming on up for dinner this week.
