austin-boston swap | part two

Now that Janet has received her goodies, I can share what I sent her as part of the Austin-Boston food swap. I had oodles of fun with the AFBA Austin-Boston Food Swap this year and am contemplating taking this up as more of a regular thing with friends from around the country. I could have never imagined how different everyone’s boxes would be! There were some repeat offenders (Cuvee Coffee and Goodflow Honey) but so many other things that I would have never considered to be quintessential Austin.

My take on Austin’s yummiest:

Mezzanote from Cuvee Coffee
Goodflow Honey
Thunderbird Energetica Bars
El Milagro Chips
Torchy’s Diablo Sauce
Butternut Squash from Johnson’s Backyard Garden
Wheatsville Breeze
Edible Austin Fall Issue
Pear Butter & Pickled Jalapeños from my homemade pantry

Enjoy, Janet!

Take a peek at what Janet sent me and make sure to pay her Boston-based blog a visit.

We are lucky in Austin, in that we have an member org that we can all connect through – the Austin Food Blogger Alliance (link in bottom right) – that connected us to a similar group in Boston. It was soooo much fun! Are you in Austin?
