Is anyone else as relieved as I am to finally be getting April behind us? I’m looking forward to May and the “coast through to summer” mode that takes over – lazy afternoon’s at home, quick dips at Stacy Pool, kite flying and books.
Only thing that we have going on this week beyond school and work is my daughter’s first lemonade stand. She decided to donate the proceeds of her lemonade stand to the Capital Area Food Bank and is stoked about the whole “helping others” element. She’ll be taking food donations and cash in exchange for icy lemonade, so be sure to stop by Wheatsville on Sunday between 3-5 to pick up a glass.
DINNER:
Margherita Pizza with Arugula
Pizza with Fontina, Tapenade & Potatoes
Spinach & Strawberry Salads
Mexican Lentils (didn’t get around to it last week)
Chickpeas & Chard*
OTHER STUFF
Huge batches of Strawberry Lemonade** for her stand
Salsa Casera (for gifting and for home)
Muffins or scones of some sort
