I love that our Saturday morning trips to the farmers’ market have become so engrained that we now bump into folks, recognize faces and notice when someone is missing. This morning was a little quiet because of the grey and rain, but no less lovely. Came home with our CSA stash from Johnson’s Backyard Garden (Beets, Bok Choi, Cabbage, Carrots, Oranges, Green Onions, Salad Greens, Spinach, Turnips). Also picked up some beautiful cilantro from Finca Pura Vida which I am hoping to get to know a little better in the coming month.
Have absolutely everything that I need to make big bowls of miso with fresh veggies and udon noodles. What are you cooking today?
yum. i’ve never made a gratin with greens or cabbage! may have to try that.
I’m going to make a gratin of cabbage and swiss chard– also using JBG veggies.
