Last night, after what we seems like months, the whole family got into the kitchen and prepared a meal together. We had yummy Spaghetti in Pesto and beautiful Salads with Feta and Strawberry Vinaigrette. Yay! We’ve promised to set aside time to cook at least one meal as a family every week and, if the summer proves as restful as we hope, we can do it more often than that.
We’re gonna have skinny dinner plan for this week (minus-one due to business trip and busy Memorial Day Weekend plans). Friday night’s dinner will be our family cooking night.

Homemade popsicles (our first batch of the year)
Oat Bread (rising now)
Maybe some Granola Bars for the trip
