I am going to spend the next couple of months wrangling our food expenses back down to a reasonable place. Feels like our food budgets have been spiraling out of control with lots of extra trips to the grocery store and more instance of food-gone-bad than I care to admit.

I am buying no more than what is needed for the week’s meals and I am going to be my best to get myself back to a single grocery trip a week and one farmer’s market visit with the girl in tow to help with list-enforcing.

The girl and I are in the beginnings of our Father’s Day planning for this Sunday. So far there have been requests for a breakfast in bed, a family cooked meal and some time out at Town Lake. Shall see how it all comes together 🙂
