So far, I know that I need to put up crushed tomatoes, ketchup and oven-roasted tomatoes. Not sure that ketchup will make it into the first weekend. What are you making with your tomatoes?

I’ve always wanted to make ketchup! I know I’ll be canning some sauce and perhaps some whole tomatoes, but beyond that, I’m not sure. I’ll just have to wait and see how they come in! So far, we’ve only gotten a few.
tomatoes are really the only thing that i put up large portions of. last year’s stash got me through *almost* an entire year and the only reason i am putting ketchup off to another weekend is because i think i may need to can a bit more than last time. fam went through the stash by january!
