We have reached the don’t-make-the-kitchen-hot part of summer. Meals are quick, ovens are torture, the backyard figs are starting to pile up . I only have a few pounds so far but there are usually several pounds every day for a week straight. This is what my week in the kitchen looks like so far:
- Spaghetti
- Vegetarian Lo Mein*
- Charred Corn Tacos with Zucchini Radish Slaw
- Lentil & Roasted Red Pepper Salad**
- Zucchini Bread
- Pitaya Agua Fresca
- Arroz con faux-llo (can hopefully pull a recipe together soon for this)\
- Fig Leaf Coconut Rice
- Fig Jam
