CSA – feb 3

I had a busy afternoon after our CSA pickup so please forgive the late inventory. All the produce is washed, packed and ready to head into its home in the fridge. We got Brussel sprout greens, spinach, broccoli, green garlic, scallions, lettuce, parsley, turnips, cabbage, oranges & grapefruits (already put away) and hordes of carrots.

We’ll more than likely dive into the lettuce greens tomorrow with a salad and go at the rest over the next week or so. The carrots seem insurmountable at the moment, but I’ll peel and matchstick a good portion of them in the morning for dipping and snacking on. That and my daughter should put a serious dent in it.

I’ll post in the next day or so with a more solid food plan.
