We’ll be hitting the leftover stash this week and working our way through the last of our CSA veggies. A bi-weekly schedule with one trip to the farmers’ market for a few “special” things in between pickups has worked like a charm – no rotting food, no panicked MUST-COOK feeling, and just enough variety to keep us from feeling like we are on repeat every week.
The introduction of juicing into the house has meant that we went through our entire veggie stash in 6 days. The pantry and soups that I made over the weekend are going to save us (fingers crossed).
