I assessed the fridge, thought about a plan, committed it to virtual paper, did some prep work over the weekend and lookie there… I have a meal plan on semi-schedule. I know how to do this.

MoreHello there! I’ve been MIA for nearly a month, but I assure you that much cooking has been happening ’round here. Actually, I’m pretty impressed with the fam right now. We’ve all been swamped with work and life and fun and plans and work, but have still managed to eat nearly every meal together. A […]
MoreIt’s my birthday week so I am going to keep my cooking commitments on the lighter side, sticking to things in my repertoire that are familiar enough to cook without a recipe in hand.
MoreIt’s been forever since I put together a solid meal plan and thought that it was finally time. We’ve been eating stuff from the quick-and-easy roster for weeks and I think both the family and I are ready for some variety. MoreOur veggie stash is a little low this week so we will turn to the pantry and freezer to fill out some meals.
MoreThis week’s meal plan has me cranking on the oven. Yay for summer being over!
MoreThe past few days have come with a stark realization – I am no longer a stay at home mama. I’ve been taking on small gigs here and there (freelancing, writing and event producing) for the past year and slowly those have turned into more steady work. I’m super happy about how well these little […]
MoreLast week’s meal plan got thrown to the wind as soon as it sunk in that lots of baking had to happen in 100º+ weather. I didn’t have much left in me come dinner time and I was thankful that we had lots of leftovers and pasta on hand. So, this week, I owe my […]
